Sushi party…
Published December 4th, 2005 in People
Not really, but this evening we had dinner with Matt. He’s in Paris to attend Les Blogs 2.0 conference. We had first a drink in a nice pub in Paris, then we went to have some sushis at a restaurant called Foujita. I told him that’s the place where you can have the best sushis I’ve ever eat. I don’t know if he agrees but at least he was really polite
We spent then the evening talking about blogs, podcasts, php programmation, etc… Here are some topics we discussed about:
- Blogbridge, the best aggregator in my opinion. It’s opensource, in java (nobody’s perfect) and can synchronize between different locations.
- The fact that on Yahoo Maps the URL changes each time you do a zoom or move the map.
- Orbitz and Kayak. 2 airfaire search engines.
- Database schema of Wordpress.com and how indexes can really hep you.
- Why is there no other blog software developer speaking on Monday and Tuesday at a conference focused on blogging except Mena from Six Apart?
- And Papenoo of course.
If I forgot something Matt, feel free to complete…
Thanks for the evening, it’s was really nice talking with you.
